Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager-gnome
I am using Ubuntu 9.04. I added a mobile broadband network connection with Orange service provider in Romania, but the browser didn't display any page. Other applications(skype, ping) were working fine, so I checked the DNS settings on a Windows computer with driver for the Huawei modem and they were different. I replaced manually the default DNS settings on Ubuntu and the problem was solved. The correct DNS settings are 62.217.193.1, 62.217.193.65. ** Affects: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Wrong mobile brodband DNS settings for Orange, Romania https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/381222 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
