Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and help to improve Ubuntu.
acpi-support is left unconfigured because it depends on acpid which failed to install. So this bug should be reassigned to acpid. However, the acpid install failure appears to be a result of you having an update-rc.d command installed that doesn't support the Ubuntu 'multiuser' option. Please post the output of 'dpkg -l sysv-rc' on this system. ** Package changed: acpi-support (Ubuntu) => acpid (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: acpid (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: acpid (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- package acpi-support 0.109-0hardy2 failed to install/upgrade: dependency problems - leaving unconfigured https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/381198 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
