Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and help to improve
Ubuntu.

acpi-support is left unconfigured because it depends on acpid which
failed to install.  So this bug should be reassigned to acpid.

However, the acpid install failure appears to be a result of you having
an update-rc.d command installed that doesn't support the Ubuntu
'multiuser' option.  Please post the output of 'dpkg -l sysv-rc' on this
system.
