I think you keep missing my point. Lets say that two people apply for a job at a bank. One is dressed in a professional suit, and is well groomed. The other is in black jeans and a black T-shirt, has a Mohawk and piercings. The perception will be that the later of the two is totally unsuited for bank work. This may not at all be the case, but it doesn't matter if he never gets an interview. This is our perception problem. If everyone thinks Linux is broke (regardless of if it is or not) no one will try it. If they never try it, they will never find out if it is better. > Btw, For some reason, I can't suspend to ram any more. Either X crashes > or nothing happens. Let me know how that works for you. Seeing as how I have to support everything else out there, I can tell you that "every dog has his fleas." These are all just tools and use the one that works for you. But you can actually fix problems in Linux. Try that with Vista. -- Microsoft has a majority market share https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
