I've also seen the same issue as m3ta-x. While an application is starting up, mouse movement between screens (or at least the location of the visual pointer) goes haywire. Once the application is ready, it goes back to normal. Of note is that I saw this behavior while using the xfce desktop, but not (so far) while using the lxde desktop.
