I have a 6530B also...

grep Codec /proc/asound/card0/codec#*
/proc/asound/card0/codec#0:Codec: Analog Devices AD1984A
/proc/asound/card0/codec#1:Codec: LSI ID 1040

The following option did work for me as a work-around and now both the
speakers and the front headphone jack work as they should.

Write: gksu gedit /etc/modprobe.d/options
Enter your password
Add this line in the end of the document:

options snd-hda-intel model=laptop
