dmesg after the oops

** Description changed:

  Xorg returns, compiz seems to be running okay.
  
  A few moments later, the box locks up.  
   * Machine can be ping'ed remotely over wireless link
   * Cannot log in via ssh
   * REISUB resets the machine
   * On reset, a full ext4 fsck is forced and errors are found and corrected 
(e.g. "Deleted inode 2981923 has zero dtime.  FIXED."), and the machine is 
reset again.
  
- Seems to be working fine under "vesa"
+ Under mainline 2.6.30-rc{5,6,7}, it stays up longer (up to several
+ hours), at which point it seems that processes that touch the disk start
+ to die/hang.  I have a dmesg from the laptop in this state (programs
+ that are already running and which don't access the disk seem to work
+ fine) attached below.
