Same here in Jaunty using Okular, printing to a Fedora-hosted CUPS server which has a USB printer. Try to print the attached grinds for ~30minutes, with 'gs' at the top of 'top'. The CUPS printers page for the local machine (not the server) i.e. http://localhost:631/printers/ says "TurboPrint: printing page 5, 99% complete..." and ticks up the page count very slowly, then prints.
