Public bug reported: When grub says
Error 15 file not found it would IMMENSELY helpful if it included the name of the file it could not find. Was it the kernel it couldn't find? was it the initrd image? was it something else? a person has to be psychic to figure it out!?! Please please please include the name of the file in the error message. How to reproduce: take a file system image with tar (carefully) but don't fix menu.lst boot using a rescue disk, mkfs the partition, mount it and restore the tarball into it. Run grub-install (which reports success). Try to boot... mwahahahahaha WFT? Guess what the problem is. Nope, wrong, guess what the problem is.
