We are automatically transitioning this to the linux kernel package so that the appropriate teams are notified and made aware of this issue. Status in “linux” source package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Binary package hint: linux-backports-modules-intrepid this is to report that a popular PCMCIA GSM card for T-mobile in the United States, is not in the Mobile Broadband Cards cards table of wiki.ubuntu.com. I believe this PC card is a Broadcom 4306, and its default node, at least on my pc, is /dev/ttyS1. I cannot get it to respond using the probing instructions provided on wiki.ubuntu.com. I have included the kern.log and sys.log, as well as the requested information from the site. I can see the device identified in lspci, and the 802.11 interface on the same card appears to be working fine. -- sony gc89 not recognized by network-manager https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/289994 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
