Same issue with mint 7. Same or worst with Sidux (but it is a different driver). Gonna have to try etch & lenny to see if this bug come from debian.
If my connexion was not so perfect with ubuntu 8.10, I were blaming my hardware, but it work so well. I have reinstall so many time 8.10 and 9.04 with the same result every time (perfect on 8.10, inconsistent connexion with 9.04).
