Public bug reported:

Sometimes (not always), when my laptop blanks the screen and turns off
the backlight due to inactivity, I cannot resume to my desktop. Hitting
a key or moving the mouse does not bring up the "Locked screen" dialog.

I just noticed that the system does not crash completely, I still can
SSH into it. As I saw a kernel crash in dmesg, I report this against
linux, but X.org or -intel may be the cause, too.
