Public bug reported: Environment: Ubuntu 9.04, gedit 2.26.1
Steps to reproduce: 10. Open side pane by pressing F9 (or select in menu "View -> Side pane...") 20. Switch side pane to "File browser" tab 30. Open some important folder with many files (e.g., homedir) 40. Press "Ctrl-A" "Del" Optional steps from my experience: 35. Open some file. 36. Decide to rewrite all it's content completely. 37. Accidentally click on empty space somewhere in sidepane, loosing focus from text editing area. What I expected to happen: at least one confirmation, like "Are you sure to delete this files?" What happened instead: all selected files and folders silently trashed without any questions. ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gedit delete files without confirmation https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/385124 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
