Public bug reported:

$ lsb_release -rd
Description:    Ubuntu 9.04
Release:        9.04
$ apt-cache policy xserver-xorg-video-intel
xserver-xorg-video-intel:
  Installiert: 2:2.7.1-0ubuntu1~xup~1
  Kandidat: 2:2.7.1-0ubuntu1~xup~1
  Versions-Tabelle:
 *** 2:2.7.1-0ubuntu1~xup~1 0
        500 http://ppa.launchpad.net jaunty/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     2:2.6.3-0ubuntu9 0
        500 http://ch.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages

After upgrading from jaunty's version to the PPA version, suspend to RAM
stopped working. There's no trace about suspend problems neither in
dmesg, in the Xorg.0.log, in /var/log/messages or /var/log/syslog.

What happens when I suspend is that the screen goes black, the HD is
working and ... pop the graphical Ubuntu login screen appears.
