(Robert Persson, how did you roll-back to Amarok 1.4? I'd like to do so at least until Jaunty+1; for various other reasons, 2.0 is not quite up to snuff for me)
luca_ing's workaround did work for me to fix Amarok and JuK in GNOME Jaunty. Is it feasible for Ubuntu to set Phonon to default to PulseAudio as most-preferred, because Ubuntu does, after all, try to be a PulseAudio system?
