** Description changed: Binary package hint: gkrellm I use gkrellm 2.3.1-7ubuntu1 as a panel in KDE 4:4.2.1a-0ubuntu1~intrepid3 in Ubuntu 8.10 and it is located at the right border of the desktop. Usually it works fine, but at certain events it bounces away from the border a bit to the left. This means that all maximised windows suddenly use up all the CPU since they all become larger (because the grkellm panel disappeared) and have to be redrawn. I then have to move gkrellm back to its position at the right border which again uses up all my CPU since the maximised windows now all become smaller when introducing the panel again. The bouncing of gkrellm is triggered when the content of it is changed, for instance if a new network device has to be displayed. But interestingly it also happens every hour when the clock suddenly shows something like "XX:00". + The bug seems to disapear when I choose gkrellm _not_ to be a panel. Please let me know if you need more information to fix the bug.
