same problem. First time trying (k)ubuntu of any version. I'm using nvidia driver with TV as only display + usb wireless mouse. Very annoying bug. Its far less frequent when I use x2x to remotely control the mouse. Either way I'm hoping for a fix very soon that doesn't involve downgrading xorg
