Correct. according to the output seen in the post about gcc-4.4.0 above, the bug seems fixed. About the fact that one should include sys/socket.h instead of linux/socket.h, that's also correct of course, but not the point of the discussion (and the bug report). The point is that gcc-4.3 crashes instead of producing the above error messages, and _that_ seems to be fixed in gcc-4.4.0. Nice! I agree with both status changes. Thanks.
