Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools
if you connect a sata disk to the external sata port you have to
configure it as internal drive.
org.freedesktop.hal.storage.mount-fixed must be enabled for non admin
users to be able to mount such a drive.
If it is connected by USB it is recognized as removable drive.
