update: forgot to mention i updated to the Intel X3100 latest drivers through the repos. from the [url=http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1130582]Jaunty Intel Graphics Performance Guide[/url] in Ubuntu Forums.
In addition, i only applied the <u>safe<u> config. without changing the kernel and so forth (i did it by accident, and then removed all trace through Synaptic..) never had this bug before, and i hope it'll be solved soon, since i find it very dangerous while working.
