Public bug reported:

System:
- Ubuntu 9.4 - the Jaunty Jackalope
- uname -a: Linux beyond-laptop 2.6.28-13-generic #44-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jun 2
07:55:09 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux
- Lenovo T61p

Problem description:

I use a docking station and discovered several errors:
All errors do appear suddenly and rare and without any hint to reproduce them
and only when I had a docking session.

#1 System seems to run in an endless loop, the processor was suddenly in 100%
usage and the system monitor did not show any responsable process.
#2 The system did response slow and sometimes it even does not response at all.
After a hard switch off (Power Button pressed for 5 seconds) The system came up
with forced file system check.
The automated file system check went thrue with exit code 4 and failed. It
asked to manually do the file system check. I did so 2 times now. After
answering all questions with YES the system went up again fine.
#3 During docking the system the batterie display disappeared and is just
replaced by power connector symbol. Having the mouse arrow on it it says
'Unable to get data...'

Each time I tried to find a hint in the system log file but now I did
find something (it is related to #3):

Here is the kernel.log for the last docking session:
