While it's a good idea to make it easy to rename, care should be taken
to prevent it from being a nuisance like in windows and KDE.

One suggestion has been, for it only to work with the text part of the
icon which is good but not enough. It has to be really intuitively
obvious that clicking on the text once the icon is selected will rename.

My suggestion is that when the cursor is hovering over the text of a
selected icon, it changes into the same type of cursor used to
edit/highlight any type of text.
