Public bug reported:

In my system there's only one sound device, which is my USB headphone.
If totem is playing some music and I unplug the phone, totem apparently
continues "playing" the music to nowhere, as if nothing had happened.
Plugging the phone again does nothing either and totem plays no sound
until I exit the application and start it again.

Steps to reproduce.
- Play some music
- Unplug the headphone
- Totem does nothing
- Plug again
- Totem does nothing

What should have happened ?
- An error message should have appeared, or the music should stop our pause
- When the phone is plugged again, clicking on the play button should work

This is a papercut.

** Affects: totem (Ubuntu)
