Public bug reported: Binary package hint: telepathy-butterfly
There seems to be no way to connect to MSN through another method than using port 1863. In some environments, ports other than, for example, 80 and 443 are not allowed to egress. Users then commonly try to use gateway.messenger.msn.com over port 80 (or is it 443)? This is behavior that is already implemented in Pidgin, as well as the official MSN clients. ** Affects: telepathy-butterfly (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- add support for the http method (MSN over HTTP) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/392195 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
