I can confirm that this is an issue for me. I have Jaunty, all updates as of date posted, Samsung R560 laptop, nVidia GeForce 9600 GS with a 1280x800 monitor connected by HDMI to my 1360x768 TV. Panels are aligned perfectly on my laptop screen, but retain this size on the larger resolution screen, stopping short of the edge. Screenshot attached.
