In your case, specifically, the following command may be helpful: cat /var/log/message | grep gnome-power-manager (since verbose gnome-power-manager doesn't give an output). The complete path for gnome-power-bugreport is: /usr/share/gnome-power-manager/gnome-power-bugreport Which gives similar information as to the: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/27738076/DevkitPower.txt attachment Thanks for trying with the new kernel.
