I saw this exact problem yesterday with a Jaunty LPIA alternate ISO image on a USB stick, created with UNetbootin (latest version on their website).
I do wonder though, why can't we install an LPIA ubuntu using a live USB instead of an alternate ISO? The live ubuntu version does not bork when run on a usb stick. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- lpia karmic alternate: USB key doesn't show up https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/376103 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
