Adobe requested it be like that as they view Acrobat Reader AND the plugin as a single product. This is why there isn't a 64 bit coming for Hardy as some dated libraries wouldn't allow the plugin to function properly there. We will continue to work to gently nudge them in that direction, but at the end of the day, it's their product and we must honor their wishes.
