I don't think this is a specific problem of the package "adept". For me this happens with certain programs (I think all of them are non- GTK+), like Open Office and VLC Media Player, that take a while to load. When I double click a document or video file to open with these programs I get no visual feedback whatsoever. Normally when I open a file I get (at least) feedback in the form of a mouse cursor animation.
This results in people opening files twice, because they think the first time didn't work. I have seen this happen to several people. They double click a file, wait a second or so, see no feedback, so they double click it again. Resulting in opening the file twice. I guess the solution would be to always show the "wait cursor" animation whenever any file or program is opened. -- Notifier: Missing launch feedback after clicking icon https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/396253 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to adept in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
