This bug typically makes my system unusable for 30 minutes after resume, I end up having to (slowly) kill all open apps to stop them all swapping out. Firefox is the biggest problem. Disabling swap did nothing, and I can't kill gnome-power-manager because then suspend is no longer there on the shutdown menu. I never had this problem before Jaunty.
