Public bug reported: Problem is occurring since kernel .31.2 on Karmic Koala In kernel .28.xx Longhaul is also reported as "is currently broken in this configuration" on startup, but it is not loaded. I could therefore use e_powersaver which works good. This is not possible anymore since Longhaul is loaded anyway. It seems to be compiled into the kernel so I cannot disable it. Wouldn't it be better to have it as a module?
I'm using a HP mini 2133 with a VIA C7-m CPU. I hope that is enough information. My first bug report :) Cheers Reto ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- longhaul is loaded despite being reported broken https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/398552 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
