Until an actual fix can be hardcoded try this workaround:
Open Evolution
Press Edit
press shft+ctrl+s
highlight account press edit
in Receiving Options tab- uncheck Delete after "?" day(s)
click ok
click close
note:
check the results by sending and receiving email
if there are any issues with this workaround please let me know
