After installing and updating Jaunty via wubi, my TRL8187b card seemed to work (very poorly, practically unusable) in Ubuntu. When I rebooted back to Vista, my card was recognized but serious errors began to manifest. I could not connect but I could see wireless gateways. My signals were erroneously low as well.
I booted back into Jaunty and used the NDIswapper (works much better by the way) and then back to Vista.... the wireless card isn't the same but seems to work. -- RTL8187 not found in Ubuntu, and not found in Vista after reboot from Ubuntu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/295403 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
