@Sancho, you are describing a completely different issue. The reader+adapter work with a 2GB card (no SDHC probably) but there are issues with the 8GB SDHC card. Also this is not counting as a regression if the 8GB card never worked in Linux before. Can you please open a new bug. Thanks.
