Sorry, got a bit sidetracked by other issues. It looks like there might be a small change to allow devices with the IDs 8086:10de and 8086:10df. I build a test package with it at placed it at http://people.ubuntu.com/~smb/bug322737/. If that works, then this would look like a SRU acceptable change. Please let me know.
