Public bug reported: I've just installed Skype on Linux Mint 7.0 and started it up, typed in my username and password and then tried to click "Sign in" at the bottom of the dialog.
To my surprise, the button isn't even clickable and there is no other way to get the login going. I tried hitting return, enter on the keypad, right-clicking and the mousepad....Still the login sequence does not start at all. Any help will be greatly appreciated. 1) Release: Description: Linux Mint 7 Gloria - Main Edition Release: 7 2) apt-cache policy skype skype: Installed: 2.0.0.72-0medibuntu4 Candidate: 2.0.0.72-0medibuntu4 Version table: *** 2.0.0.72-0medibuntu4 0 500 http://packages.medibuntu.org jaunty/non-free Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: LinuxMint 7 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: skype 2.0.0.72-0medibuntu4 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: skype Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic i686 UnreportableReason: This is not a genuine LinuxMint package ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Can not press "Sign in"-button in Skype https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/400701 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
