If i open PK add/remove and try using the search i get an error "The search could not be completed" underneath that is a message "Running the transaction failed" and under details is "cannot start daemon: cannot GetTid: Launch helper exited with unknown return code 1"
Under the 'System' tab i only have 'Quit'. Under the 'Filters' tab i have nothing. Using Software Update, it just says checking for updates no matter how long you leave it.
