Public bug reported: CD/Version: Ubuntu 9.04 ( Jaunty ), original CD from http://shipit.ubuntu.com
When setup fails to copy at least 1 file, I get an error message ( about the fact that it can't find/copy this file ) and it says "clean your cd or replace with another one", but, there's no way I could do it. When I click "OK" ( the one and only choice I have there ), installation exits and Ubuntu boots into Live OS ( LiveCD version ). It's so annoying to do it again and again without being sure that it'll not happen again. It SHOULD give me a choice ( like, ejecting CD and asking for a replacement ) without interrupting installation process. Bug: can't clean/replace my corrupted CD as upon pressing "OK" button, installation exits. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Failed file transfer interrupts whole installation. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/401188 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
