Yes, the machine being upgraded had NFS mounts. Apart from the error message and a bit of retrying everything seems to have upgraded properly. Is there a way I can check whether the mythtv- common post-installation script has run successfully?
Other than that as far as I am concerned this is no longer an issue and doesn't need to be kept open unless you want to do something to address it. I cannot imagine why the NFS mounts caused the local machine upgrade to fail. But it seems to have been a minor and transient issue. -- package update-manager 1:0.93.34 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: SystemError in cache.commit(): E:Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/399120 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
