hallo, i have the same problem (but not only) with an Acer 6930g laptop, graphics card Nvidia 9600m GT , nvidia driver version 180.44, Ubuntu 9,04. The second problem that I have is: I have changed with Nvidia server settings the values of brightness and contrast but after log in those values are the standard ones. For inserting my values is enough to click on the Nvidia server setting and all appears like i want. thanks, mario
