I got the very same problem tonight .. I rented a movie on DVD and as it
happens half the time, it didn't work.

Every time it's the same circus;

1. Encounter a permission problem when trying to read a rented DVD in totem or
VLC
2. Fire Windows on Virtualbox, try with VLC .. half the time it works, if not ..
3. Search the web, find something about CSS drm bullshit or somthing ..
4. Try to install libCSSwhatever or extras packages and find out it don't work
either
5. Remember how I did workaround the last time; open VLC, File -> Open
*DIRECTORY* browse for "VIDEO_TS" in the DVD drive, click "open" and watch
movie.

I'm still not sure if I should blame Ubuntu for not being able to read a
DVD correctly or the movie industry for not being able to write a DVD
properly.
