I tested hl-1250 driver some years ago, it worked but marginals were not correct. For example, dcp7010 driver gave me exactly 3cm top and 4cm left marginals if I wanted, hl1250 driver 1cm top and 3cm left (or something else, I can't remember it anymore) with same settings every time.
But I hope it works ok nowadays.
