Public bug reported: Binary package hint: imapsync
When synchronizing messages with certain IMAP servers, such as GMail, imapsync 1.252 gets confused by the messages size advertised by the IMAP server and emits warning messages such as: Mail::IMAPClient=HASH(0x29ebe48)::message_string: expected 2165 bytes but received 2230 at /usr/bin/imapsync line 2473 main::__ANON__('Mail::IMAPClient=HASH(0x29ebe48)', 19) called at /usr/bin/imapsync line 1376 Unfortunately, this is not just a cosmetic issue, but messages are truncated during the operation. AFAICS this has been fixed as of version 1.254 (see http://www.linux- france.org/prj/imapsync/ChangeLog or http://freshmeat.net/projects/imapsync/), so I'd be glad if a newer version could be made available as an Ubuntu package. ** Affects: imapsync (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- expected x bytes but received y at /usr/bin/imapsync https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/404524 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
