Public bug reported: Binary package hint: emacs22
Whenever I run Emacs my whole Gnome desktop freezes (well everything apart from the running instance of emacs). The only fix I have found for this is to use ctr + alt + f2 and kill the emacs process form the command line. I am not sure whether this is an emacs problem or an nvidia graphics driver problem Thanks ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: emacs 22.2-0ubuntu2 PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: emacs22 Uname: Linux 2.6.28-13-generic x86_64 ** Affects: emacs22 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- running emacs freezes gui https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/404639 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
