Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gwibber
Some users complain about Gwibber's asking for the GNOME keyring password. I was among them until I realized what it was for. This seems to be unjustified because GNOME keyring just shows the app location gibberish. If asking for the password tells the user that it's because Gwibber is accessing the saved username and password of the user's microblogging accounts, the user would understand why the password is being asked. ** Affects: gwibber (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Gwibber's asking for the GNOME keyring password seems to be unjustified https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/404835 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
