Fix worked for me (Jaunty amd64 gnumeric 1.8.4). In my dialog-stf.glade file, I had "1 1 100 1 10 10" which I changed to "1 1 100 1 10 0" (changed the last 10 to 0). The change in anova-one.glade was like the one described in the first post.
