steps to Reproduce :
1. Install Karmic-desktop-i386.iso unto Intel Classmate convertible
2. Try to get on using the wireless system
3. The system does not have wireless capabilities
4. Do a "sudo apt-get update" and install bcmwl-kernel-source
5. Restart the system
6. The system does not pick up on the wireless
Note :
The wireless network card in this system is not a Broadcom and the other Intel
classmate; Intel Class mate clamshell works properly
