Sorry, I'm new to this. Thanks for moving it.

** Description changed:

- Binary package hint: yelp
-
My cursor drifts in a random direction at a random speed at seemingly
random times. It started happening a few months ago when I was running
Ubuntu 8.04 on the same machine, but the problem has been somewhat
transient. A few days ago I reformatted my drive and installed Ubuntu
8.10 from a USB CD drive. During the installation, the cursor started to
drift again. It is particularly bad today, and I have been unable to
find reports of anyone having a similar problem. I believe the Fujitsu
Lifebook P1510D uses an Alps Stickpointer as its input device.
