I'm new to this forum, so please bear with me.

My NFS mounts broke with Jaunty Jackalope. I tried all the tips above,
but none worked.

Instead, I looked at Network Administrator and noticed that for my wired
connection, ROAMING PROFILES was enabled.

My laptop doesn't roam, so I replaced roaming with DHCP and re-booted.

My NFS shares are now mounted automagically!
