Agree with what FredBezies said, #15. I have install x86 ubuntu 8.10 desktop, it is ok, but after I remove x86 ubuntu 8.10 and then install x64 ubuntu 8.10 from ubuntu-8.10-desktop-amd64.iso, occured 'acpid: exiting....'
