Public bug reported: On Kubuntu & Xubuntu (Ubuntu not tested yet) daily build.
On my ecafe ec-900 Netbook, when useing Touchpad, the coursor sometimes becomes jumpy then sometimes doubleclick with one touch. This gets worse until Touchpad completly lockup and the Keyboard also. USB- Mouse/Keyboard still good and working. When a Touchpad/ Keyboard lockup happened then the device will fail at the next boot. I have to remove AC-Power as well the Battery to make it boot again. The Touchpad seems to be an Elantech type.
